Have you ever thought that you might like to be an actor?
Most people have, perhaps after seeing a good play or a brilliant movie, or watching a TV soap. Perhaps you thought "maybe I could do that".
Did you know that a lot of Actors have never been professionally trained? "Ok" you say "but I don't have the confidence to stand in front of an audience and I would probably forget what to say" or "I'm too old, it's too late for me."
Well here is an opportunity to do something about it. I am proposing to run weekly sessions in Derby for adults as an introduction to acting, aimed at absolute beginners with no previous experience and all completely free.
This is a great chance to learn about the basics of acting and to try your hand. No silly exercises or mammoth scripts to learn, just an introduction to the art in an informal and socially welcoming environment and, you may make some new friends too.
